You might think a simple spatula couldn't change a person's life, but that's exactly what this spatula has done for me. From what I understand the plastic in this utensil has been folded over 200 times during the hand smithing process and that level of craftsmanship shines through every time I use it or even look at it. I don't want to come right out and say that merely holding this spatula over a mixing bowl full of funnel cake batter will cause it to part like the Red Sea, or that it is capable of causing baked on cornbread to disengage from the surface of a baking dish just by tapping it against the side, but I feel very comfortable implying those things. The way I see it you have two choices; you can go with some inferior spatula, or you can run with the big dogs. This spatula is about the length of a butter knife, and the scraping end is a bit wider than a fork.
That makes it basically perfect for eating batter or icing out of a mixing bowl without getting food on your face.
That was my gateway experience. After months using it more and more I have decided that normal flatware isn't a patch on this thing for eating soft foods.
I turn to this first to eat yogurt, hot cereal, fried rice, tuna salad, & egg salad. I imagine it looks a bit silly but it works so very well. It doesn't get super cold or hot from the food, plus it's soft and can't damage my teeth. My fiance wanted ours back for getting sauces out of jars and cooking, so we just bought 3 extras to handle the demand.
Don't try to eat soup with it.

I am quite enamoured with this little utensil. I bought it because it was the cheapest silicone spatula I found, but it turned out also to be the best designed. The all-silicone construction not only protects the handle from melting, and you pot from scratching, but makes it the easiest and most comfortable to use as well.
Also note that most silicone products are only rated for use up to 400°F or so, while this is rated to 600°F. I havent used it at temperatures that high, but I'm comforted to know I have that option if the need arises.

I have been using this spatula for almost 2.5 years and I have found that not only does it stand up to high heat, but it actually does not seem to stain either like my last one. It is by far the best spatula I have used to date. After watching a show where Alton Brown had described that a good silicone spatula would be one piece, it had taken me awhile to find one that was just that.
I bake a ton and find this to be good for stirring and scrapping the sides of my bowl. A great buy!

The last review says this is comparable to a spoon. Yeah, that's true. It is not shaped or sized like a turner. But I was looking for a spatula-you know, like a rubbermaid bowl scraper but it's used for cooking. Any who...my husband has claimed this little spatula. It's perfect for his egg scramble. Doesn't scrape non-stick pans. And wow, husband can't melt it, not even when he leaves in pan while cooking. Absolutely no sign of wear or heat damage. 600 degree resistant--I love it.
