I've been using these since Oct.09 and I LOVE them. They are heavy, however. Also, all of the items in my original order were damaged and were sent out again (The 2nd shipment arrived in perfect shape). Because of the breakage & chipping in the first order, I do place a sheet of paper towels between the plates when I stack them in the cabinet. I feel like they might get chipped edges if I don't and I hope to be using these plates for a long time. What I really like about these plates is that food really stands out and looks great. PS) It has been easy to find matte black dinnerware and servingware to match these plates,also.
