Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Trudeau Garlic PressCustomer Review: You need this garlic press Summary: 5 StarsDo you really need a garlic press? Yes! A good garlic press ruptures the membranes producing a more well-developed garlic flavor and the fine, consistent pieces produce a consistent texture in your dishes. The Trudeau Garlic press is solidly made, extremely easy to clean, has no removable pieces, has a generous hopper, was simple and comfortable to operate, and does not require the hand strength of a super hero. Garlic is good for you - squeeze and enjoy!
Customer Review: Does the job with ease Summary: 5 StarsAfter stuggling with a cheap plastic press, this is nirvana. I haven't tried more than one clove yet but it works like a charm with one. One press and it's through. My plastic one required me to cut the clove in half, press, try to move the remainder around with a pick, press again, then throw in the towel. It cleans as easily as any press of this design will. Clean it as soon as you use it, 'cause if you let garlic dry in the holes of ANY press, you'll wish you hadn't.
Customer Review: Heavy and solid Summary: 5 StarsThis is a heavy and solid garlic press. It's weight makes it comfortable to use and the stainless steel makes it easy to clean. The rubber grips also make it easy to handle. It's hard for such a simple product to impress me. However, this did the job. It was a well thought out and well constructed product. It was not value-engineered into junk.
Customer Review: Need some muscle to operate properly Summary: 4 StarsWhen I put in larger cloves, I simply do not have the muscle to squeeze the handles close enough together to get any garlic out of the press. I tried leaning the tip of handle on countertop in order to gain some leverage, and the minced garlic splashed all over the wall!
I agree with the other reviewers, there's hardly any waste....if you could aim it right.
Customer Review: Best Garlic Press Summary: 5 StarsI owned another garlic press the Oxo, and it never really pressed out all the garlic. I read about the Trudeau press which was reviewed in a cooking magazine. Love, love, love the press! It does exactly what it is supposed to do, without wasting any garlic.
