Description of Trudeau Adjustable Cheese Slicer

The slicer harp, as well as roller and slicing wire, is made of stainless steel. Moving the spring-loaded roller among a trio of notches on the inner sides of the harp arms, changes its distance from the cutting wire and adjusts the thickness of cheese slices. The wire is anchored on each end by small metal blocks inserted into slots on the underside of the harp arms. To replace the wire, edge blocks slowly out of slots using a butter knife or broad-bladed screwdriver.

Wash the Trudeau slicer by hand to preserve the life of its thin steel cutting wire. Allow it to dry completely before storing, or hang dry on a utensil rack. The slicer measures 7-1/2 inches long by 4-3/4 inches wide across the harp. One replacement stainless steel cutting wire is included. Trudeau guarantees this product with a five-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. --Garland Withers
