I don't like keeping cutting boards out in the kitchen all the time--it becomes too tempting to use it as a work area/home for wayward cats instead of what it's intended for. And wood isn't such a great choice, it invariably gets stained, warped and stinky. This one solves both problems, the non-slip feet indeed are non-slip on my stone tile kitchen surfaces, and I don't see it wearing out anytime soon.
