We cooked our first fondue meal the night we got it and it worked great. Very easy to operate and heats up quickly. We followed the manufacturers recommendation for heating the broth on the stovetop first to get it to a steady boil and then we were ready to go. This is a great idea when you don't have a half hour to get the meal started. Lots of fun and very easy to use.Customer Review: Great fondue pot

works a whole lot better than my old sterno pot but I like having several for a "fondue dinner party" so you don't have to clean them between courses. The 2 different pots are great for main and dessert courses. Only negative is the metal pot is not magnetic so I can't pre-heat or melt on my inductive range and the metal is a bit thin. I am happy with my purchase. But keep in mind it is small, just enough for 3 people. If you have a large family look for something bigger. Overall, easy to clean, the fondue does not burn. Downside size and the power cord is very small (need extension).Customer Review: fondue

The fondue set came in a sturdy box, and worked as advertised. I really liked the even heat being generated, via the whole "double-boiler" concept. Also, the break-away magnetic plug is a great idea.
