Customer Review: Really great fondue pot

I did a lot of research before settling on this pot and I am very happy with my choice. We (family) have used it several times and like it so much we are considering purchasing another so we can do even more kinds of fondue in one meal. I have another fondue pot but it uses open flame and I find that being able to adjust the heat with this one is invaluable, not to mention it reduces my worry level when my kids are hovering around it.
I think it's the best one out there for versatility, utility and stylishness.
ETA: After several uses of this wonderful pot, we did order another one. We are looking forward to many home based Melting Pot parties.

This is just a small single burner electric range, and a regular fondue pot sold in one package. And, as one might expect it works really well. Just like making your fondue on a stove top, except a lot more portable.
The big question is why aren't there more of these available. Most other electric fondue sets are flawed in one way or another. This one is almost perfect.
The only problem I find with this set is the magnetic power cord breaks-off just a little bit too easy. Not a big problem for me, anyway.

This pot is great. We have used it to make cheese, chocolate, and a broth fondue. Before buying, I had a question about this pot, and so I called the Trudeau company. They have great customer service! I left a message for a callback, and someone called me back that SAME DAY. That says alot about this pot and the company itself. Great price for the money too. I researched the price on other sites, and Amazon had them all beat when you add up the cost of shipping. This thing does it all, meat, cheese, chocolate. Its easy to clean, well built, quick to heat up, and comes with a little recipe book and enough skewers for a moderate get together. I honestly need to grab a second one as a dedicated chocolate or cheese fondue while the primary one is for meat just to keep things easy for transition. I read a lot about other electric fondue pots and fuel burning pots and determined this to be the best for my needs, and I haven't regretted it one bit!
Customer Review: Removing the sticker from the hot plate clean and easy!

I haven't yet used this item but several customers are having trouble removing the sticker from the surface of the hot plate. To do this clean and easy simply use a blow/hair dryer directing hot air to the sticker. Gently pull the sticker with one hand as you continue to direct hot air on it. It will pull off clean and easy with no residue left behind!
Am looking forward to enjoying some delicious fondue from this item but it's a birthday present for my daughter so I'll have to wait!
