The Silvermark 3-Inch Ceramic Paring Knife with Sheath in Red features an advanced ceramic blade that is 50-percent harder than steel and stays sharp 10 times longer. Unlike metal, ceramic blades won't brown foods, transfer a metallic taste or smell, or corrode. Additionally, ceramic is ultra-lightweight - about half the weight of traditional kitchen cutlery. The resin coating on the blade of this knife helps keep food from sticking. This knife comes with the patented KnifeSafe sheath for portability and protection, and is available in four vibrant colors: Red, Green, Blue, and Orange.
